Danger Blog

Danger, not fear, lies at the heart of conflict. Fear and the self-protective strategies which danger promotes are functions of danger and a person’s unique way of seeking safety from the danger. The key to understanding conflict is recognizing danger, especially relationship danger, and then understanding whether the self-protective strategies (or defense mechanisms) being used are productive, not-productive, or counter-productive.

This blog explores what might be dangers. Scientific measurement tools from the attachment field, and the DMM in particular, identify very specific relationship dangers. CSI’s DMM Danger List includes many such dangers.
