The DMM Coffee House continues it’s 5th year in 2025. These are live, free, hosted or unhosted, Zoom-based discussion sessions to explore aspects of the Dynamic Maturational Model of Attachment and Adaptation. They are open to anyone interested in learning about the DMM.
We don’t record these for replay because the Coffee House is a place for the free exchange of ideas and exploration of complex issues. Session notices are often, but not always, posted on this website. They are always announced in the DMM Group Talk listserv. The times are always on the first Tuesday of the month, at 9:00 a.m. Seattle time and 5:00 p.m. London time.
Here are some of the potential topics we might cover in 2025. We’re leaving room for new topics so please contact us if you have requests or offers to host.
- Self-assessing DMM self-protective strategies (7 January 2025)
- Techniques for counseling and relating to people using DMM A-strategies
- Introducing Attachment Centred Therapy, hosted by UK psychiatrist Louise Atkins, widow of author Charley Shults. The book describing ACT was published in late 2024, shortly after Charley passed.
