Online training via Zoom for the attachment-based Meaning of the Child (MotC) interview is offered in 2020 by the Cambridge Centre for Attachment (CCA). The six live classroom sessions are currently scheduled to begin at 5:00 a.m. on six Mondays in October, November, and December. (The start time is at 1:00 p.m. in Cambridge, U.K. where the instructor is located.) An alternate start time may be rescheduled if a sufficient number of people in Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles attend the 2020 program.
Live class sessions will recorded and can be viewed at any start time of the participant’s choice.
This training program is taught by Dr. Ben Grey, a co-developer of the MotC interview. Dr. Grey is a co-director of the CCA and program director of the Roehampton University’s attachment studies program. The MotC is an attachment-based assessment, built primarily with tools from the DMM perspective on attachment. It is designed to explore the psychological dangers a child might present to parent so that appropriate interventions can be applied.
