When faced with the complex challenges of managing multifaceted corporate client needs, firms need to look beyond traditional approaches and unlock the earning power encased the simple concept of client satisfaction.
The American Bar Association E-Report (September 8, 2016), revealed the results of an extensive survey, wherein 27% of companies survived were employed by Fortune 100 companies and 9% were employed by Global 500 companies; their combined median revenue reported 3.4 billion.
The findings were shocking:
- 70% of all big firm clients surveyed reported being dissatisfied with their law firms
- The Fortune 100 and Global 500 companies reported adding as many as four additional secondary law firms.
- 53% of the Fortune 100 and Global 500 companies surveyed, reported they had replaced or demoted a primary firm in the last 18 months.
- Most Companies who reported replacing or demoting their primary law firm, say they did so without discussing the change in status with the demoted firm; they simply spent less and less money with that firm, and more with a secondary, until the roles were eventually reversed.
